Camping- Ocean Shores 2011

This past weekend we went camping with some great friends at Ocean City State Park, in Ocean Shores! This was our first time camping with TWO kids, and we survived!!! It was so much fun to see Kaylee running around with all of her little friends. Emma on the other hand was a bit of a handful since she is STILL not walking, but she seemed to enjoy herself. We got super lucky this weekend and not only had GORGEOUS weather, but it also happened to be the Sand and Sawdust Festival! So we had tons of fun walking around watching the men carve their masterpieces with nothing but a chainsaw, and later walked down to the beach and watched the building of some pretty amazing sand castles! Such a fun weekend!!!

Although Kaylee has seen salt water ( the Puget Sound) this was her first time really getting to see the Ocean! She was terrified. And like any good Mother, I made her walk out into the water a little ways to experience the great Pacific! ;)

We definitely are going to have to make this an annual event! Families who attended the 2011 Ocean Shores campout- Nelson, Hartley, Bailey, and Jacobsen!

I have no idea what kind of face that is. LOL! But we stopped at this handmade ice cream shop to get Kaylee a little treat.

There was a little family fun center place where Kaylee and I had fun riding the go carts!
This was so cute! For about 30 minutes Kaylee and Emma had fun in the tent climbing all over their Daddy (who was trying to nap), it was really sweet. Obviously Lance didn't get much of a nap in.
