This summer has been a whirlwind! (understatement of the century!) Everything was great, Lance was doing really well at work, (although still working an insane amount of hours), we were getting excited for Kaylee to start Kindergarten, etc. The end of July changed our world completely! To make a long story short, a office opened up in Lake Forest Park (Seattle) and it was offered to Lance. When offices open up in the company, they need to be filled ASAP to keep from losing assets. So we knew there would be an offer coming on Sunday night and we would need to be prepared to give them an answer. We prayed really hard that night and when the official offer came on Monday, we accepted!!! This of course would mean relocating to Seattle area! I was so terrified, but oddly excited about this AMAZING opportunity! From then on out the to-do lists and chaos began! We had about a month to find a house, find renters for our house, get Kaylee registered and ready for a new school, and make the MOVE! Luckily we were blessed, and door after door was easily opened to us! Take that for an answer to prayer! It was amazing!!! Lance left almost immediately to start work up North and I was left to get EVERYTHING ready for the move. He worked all week up north, and came home on the weekends. It was extremely difficult! I have a new perspective and appreciation for all the single Moms out there! So that is the jist of our summer, any and all focus has been on the move and starting this HUGE new chapter of our lives. It's been (and still is) a roller coaster of emotions for me, but we are adjusting, and know that this is where we need to be! :)

Haha, this picture is part of the many pictures Lance and I took on our anniversary while being tourist in our own city, Seattle. Can never live in the great Pacific Northwest without your trusty vampire slaying kit! ;)
Dad came home on one of the weekends and we all went out to dinner. Kaylee and Emma had a little dance party outside the restaurant.
