Well it has finally arrived! Kaylee's first day of Kindergarten! She was so excited she could hardly stand it! She woke me up at 6am all dressed and already ready to go. We had a good morning talking all about her new school, she even had a few new little friends she made at the back to school night! This made me so happy and feel a lot better about sending her off to school in an area we are bran new to and don't know a soul! Lance gave her a Father's blessing and we were all of to take her down to the bus stop! She was so cute and I could tell she was a little nervous, but luckily, she is my independent one! There are 2 other (a boy and a girl) that are in Kaylee's class that are at her same bus stop. This also made me feel a lot better knowing she would have someone to sit next to on the bus that she knows!

Off she goes! Such a big girl!!! I was able to hold it together until the bus left, after I got in the car I couldn't help but shed a few tears!

I met Kaylee's bus at the school (along with all the other new parents) to see she made it to her classroom and knew where to go. The school staff was great! They had two staff members in charge of looking after and taking all the kindergartners to their class. I am also thrilled that Kaylee's new "best friend" Rooney (Spelling?) whom she met at the Y and at the back to school nigh, also is in her PRIMARY CLASS, happens to be on the same bus as her!
So glad that right off the bat Kaylee had a friend to ride the bus with and be with on that first morning at school!
