Juanita Beach

My very most favorite thing about our new home in Kenmore is Juanita Beach! We are 5 minuets from this beautiful beach! And yes, it's actual sand....not Hawaii sand, but it's as good as the sand gets in WA. There is a big swimming area and dock/pier that goes out quite a ways looking out into Lake WA. You can see some of Seattle on one side and, if we weren't on a peninsula, you would be able to see Bellevue on the other. It's gorgeous! There is a big park play area, beach volleyball area set up (you just have to reserve it), and there are kayak/paddle board rentals! Lance and I are hoping the weather stays nice enough that we can get a paddle board date in before our summer is officially gone.
